There’s a lovely lady out there somewhere whom we’ve known for years now.
Her name is Merrilyn and she has Rheumatoid Arthritis. She has sought relief through alkalizing, and has experienced some relief over the years. But RA is a cruel ailment. It hurts, it degenerates and it seem to seldom if ever leave. So when we saw this report on the effects of molecular hydrogen on rheumatoid arthritis I felt compelled to publish it.
From the report: Especially in the early stage, H2 showed significant therapeutic potential, which also seemed to assist diagnosis and treatment decisions of RA. The possible expectations regarding the potential benefits of H2 by reducing the oxidative stress, resulting from inflammatory factors, are raised and discussed here. To learn more about the many benefits revealed in over 400 scientific studies, download our report here.
Common painkillers such as aspirin and ibuprofen almost double the risk for deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism, two lethal conditions.
The NSAIDs (non-steroidal, anti-inflammatory drugs), some of the most common drugs in the world, increase the risk of DVT 1.8 fold, a new study has discovered. The risk is “significant”, say researchers from Bassett Medical Centre in New York, and doctors should be aware of the risk, especially among patients who already have a history of DVT or venous thromboembolism (VTE). The researchers made the discovery after they reanalysed six studies, which involved 21,401 cases of VTE. Ian: I just can’t get my head around the use of painkillers. Admittedly I live a charmed life free of extreme pain so I guess that disqualifies me. But when I hear the results coming from people now accessing molecular hydrogen – often people who had almost decided on surgery to stop the pain – I do wonder what it is that keeps people thinking they should use these sorts of pain killers when the side effects are so often experienced.

Last week my attention was drawn to a little-known study, from the University of Washington School of Medicine, which found that heavy use of arthritis drugs can seriously increase your risk of dementia.
Researchers followed 2,736 dementia-free people aged 65 and older for up to 12 years, during which time 476 developed dementia.
Those who were “heavy” NSAID users (the equivalent of approximately six Advil per day) were 66% more likely to develop dementia, and 57% more likely to develop Alzheimer’s disease in particular.
News like this makes me boiling mad, especially as arthritis sufferers are not being told about the dozens of safer alternative treatments that are just as effective as pharmaceutical drugs. And what makes me even angrier is the fact that what I KNOW about alkalizing and molecular hydrogen related to arthritis .. CAN’T BE REPORTED ON BY US LEGALLY! We DO get stories and we DO see happy people but there’s a million dollar fine awaiting the company that actually tells it like it is.
